Plastic Braces

Accusmile® aligners

Clear aligners is the virtually invisible way to straighten your teeth and improve your smile without the need for fixed braces. A series of clear, removable aligners discreetly move your teeth and give you the smile you’ve always wanted without people noticing that you are wearing braces!

We take impressions of your teeth and provide you with custom made clear aligners which need to be worn 24 hours a day. As each stage progresses your teeth towards a straighter smile, they can be removed for eating, cleaning etc.

Acrylic Removable Braces

Acrylic removable braces are removable appliances made at an orthodontic laboratory using an impression of the patient’s mouth, and consist of wire clasps attached to an acrylic base that fits into the mouth. Wire springs or screws may also form part of the brace and these components move the teeth into their correct positions. The acrylic comes in a choice of colours

Twin Blocks

Twin Blocks are the removable version of the orthopaedic fixed Herbst Appliance. One of the most common problems orthodontists treat is the discrepancy that occurs when the upper teeth protrude beyond the lower. Ordinarily, when we see a patient with the upper teeth protruding, we tend to think that the upper jaw and teeth are too far forward; but more often than not, this condition is due to a small lower jaw that is further back than it should be. With these patients, we encourage the lower jaw’s growth to catch up using Twin Blocks.
